Work areas and tasks at Namsskogan Family Park & Hotel are:

SHOP/EXPECTION/KIOSK in the Family Park
Here we need people to welcome guests at the entrance, accept payment, provide information to guests about their visit to the Park and at the same time sell goods from our kiosk, gift shop or give out even more information about our beautiful natural environment. The entrance is the most important and first experience every day when we open the Park to customers. And the last before we close the doors. - When we say - Welcome back! It is often YOU who create the expectations on the day for the customers! Good information and explanations about most and everything else.
Here we need people who are calm in busy situations, quick and alert - and good at answering questions about one thing or another, but are also somewhat determined. Many visitors can be challenging, and there are also demanding customers. You have a good sense of humor and strong self-control built in. We want you to have a strong financial sense. There can sometimes be many guests at the same time and we need employees who are highly service-minded, self-driven, careful, work efficiently, speak Norwegian and English well, and who always - no matter what - smile :) Multilingual people with either German, Dutch, French, Italian, Slavic languages are highly valued here.

RESIDENCE
Those who are hired are somewhat responsible for finding a place to live. We can also arrange accommodation for those who want to live here during the season. We are helpful and have available capacity for the season in a dormitory house near the park that is rented out to our employees.
We have 24 double rooms on 2 floors. The rooms are simple, with 2 beds in each room.
All 4 separate units have their own separate bathroom, toilet and kitchen.
However, 1 common living room on each floor must be shared and has common rules for use.

You usually get a roommate and then share the room with someone else.
However, in certain cases we can release a few double rooms for single rooms for a separate price. Agreement then depends on a stronger reason in the application. Anyone who wants to rent, should write in the application as soon as possible about the basis for wanting to rent a single room in our dormitory. Single room rentals are probably very limited due to the total number of rooms/places required for the season.

- An experienced, very social and fun community with other pleasant park workers. Always been. There is also a good opportunity to rent a private dormitory/residence/apartment in the vicinity. Contact the Park Admin. Office. Rules for stay, and keys for rental and arrival, room rental will be given out upon signing the lease, via the Park Admin. Office.

We have washing machines and dryers for everyone to use. Everyone receives their own information about work and requirements at Family Park before starting employment.

We are strict about cleaning, tidying up inside and outside, noise, smoking in or near shared accommodation, etc., because you will have many shared room neighbors. Tasks such as cleaning, shared tasks are distributed upon arrival. All residents should understand this before renting because we have different working hours for employees you live with in a longer working day in a larger service company. We expect this to be adhered to and strongly followed by the individual tenant.
