Namsskogan Family Park and Hotel, Furuveien 4, 7892 Trones You will find it right next to the Family Park at Trones.
The hotel itself has 30 rooms, is family friendly and has its own play areas.
Restaurant, bar . Grocery store, fuel station and electric charging station. Camping cabins of various sizes and numbers, a large camping area and also a motel. Open year round!

There is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool nearby at the Hotel/ Camping and close to the Family Park.

The swimming pool is open every day in high season from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Closed on Sundays.
In low season open only Friday and Saturday 5-7pm. Closed Sunday.

  • 3 restaurants in total including 2* in the Family Park. The hotel's dining room is open every day and has a last order at 9:00 PM.

  • 2* restaurants inside the Park are seasonal, and close within opening hours/season for the Family Park . Mountain Lodge at 5:00 PM. Park Café at 5:00 PM.

  • *The family park closes its doors, including the gift shop, every day at 6:00 PM in high season. Low season at 4:00 PM on weekdays and 5:00 PM on weekends.

    NOTE: The last opening day for the summer season in the Family Park is August 25, 2024.     After that, only groups/advance reservations have access to our beautiful Animal Park . Contact us about it .

  • The hotel - always open. - The hotel reception is open from 08:00 - 24:00. Please call and arrange a different arrival time in advance.

The hotel also has suitable course and conference facilities during low seasons outside of the summer season.

In connection with the Family Park (seasonal) we can offer tailor-made arrangements for meetings, such as group building and work, meetings for companies of all kinds. Especially in the evenings for groups we can offer a unique cozy stay in our Storgamme at the very heart of the park, - very close to where our bears, wolves, wolverines and lynx live. Please book in advance in terms of the number of people.

Hotels and Camping Furuveien 4, 7892 Trones is otherwise open year-round.

Camping space for tents, caravans and motorhomes is right next to the hotel and cabin area.

Ps. Camping Overnight* of campers/caravans of different sizes in the larger parking lot at the Family Park entrance area, and otherwise designated daily parking spaces at the hotel/shop and swimming pool are prohibited *. See signage. Illegal parking will result in a fee and possibly expulsion.

Camping Overnight stays are only permitted* at the campsite at the hotel.
However, if it is proven that the campsite is fully booked , check by calling +47 74 33 37 00 whether it is possible to park at the *designated space/ camping -area just outside the main parking lot in a designated space at the entrance to the Family Park by the signposted area. See the sign on the right at the entrance to the Park area. Payment for this space is then made at the reception at the Hotel .

Summer :
For transport long-haul trailers/trailer drivers, free parking is allowed in the evening/night from 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM during our open seasons at the Family Park's large parking lot. Access to this parking is registered at the Hotel reception, Furuveien 4, 7892 Trones directly opposite the E6 road. Food service such as dinner, supper or breakfast, and use of our sanitary facilities can be agreed upon at a price if you go to the reception at the Hotel and register your parking. Ask us about hotel rooms!

Winter :
Ps.* check our snow conditions and any necessary snow removal , - otherwise rest/overnight stay and free parking for transport-long trailers/trailer drivers may be allowed at the Family Park's large parking lot from * 18.00 - *08.00 . Access to this parking lot must be registered at the Hotel reception, Furuveien 4, 7892 Trones directly opposite the E6 road. Possibly use the hotel's parking area, if space is available. Food service such as dinner, supper or breakfast, and use of our sanitary facilities can be agreed upon at a price if you go to the reception at the hotel and register your parking.
