Namsskogan family park hotel

Namsskogan Family Park and Hotel can be found right by the family park at Trones. The hotel itself has 30 rooms, is family-friendly and has its own play areas. Camping cabins of varying sizes and numbers, a large camping area and a motel.

There is an indoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool in the immediate vicinity at Hotell/Camping and close to Familieparken.
The swimming pool is open every day in high season from 17.00 to 19.00. Closed on Sundays.
In low season open only Friday and Saturday 17-19. Closed on Sundays.

Camping space for tents, caravans and motorhomes is right by the hotel.
Space for camping; -ifthere isa shortage of space at the campsite, is directly opposite the Family Park entrance in a designated space. See sign. Payment for space is at the hotel reception on the other side of road E6.

Ps. Camping Overnight of motorhomes/caravans of different sizes on the larger paved parking lot at the Family Park entrance area is prohibited*. See signage.

Camping is ONLY allowed at the campsite by the hotel, - or if it is shown to be fully booked camping, it is carried out at the *designated place/camping-area directly opposite the main parking entrance Family Park at the signposted area. See sign. Payment for this space is made at the reception at the hotel.

  • 3 restaurants in total incl. 2* in Familieparken. Inn food service at the hotel is open every day and the last reservation is at 21:00.

  • 2* eateries are seasonal, and close within the opening hours/season for Familieparken. Fjellstu at 17.00. Parkkafèen at 17.00.

  • *The family park closes its doors, including the souvenir shop, every day at 18:00 in high season. Low season at 16:00 weekdays and 17:00 weekends.

    ATTENTION. The last day of the summer season in Familieparken is August 25, 2024.     After that, only groups/pre-bookings have access to our beautiful animal park.

  • Bar: On The hotel.

  • Grocery store in high season: From 09.00 - 20.00 weekdays. Saturday 10.00 - 20.00. Closed on Sundays.
    In low seasons open shop from 09-17. Saturday 09-15. Sunday closed.

  • Fuel station and electric chargers for cars: At Hotel/camping. Always open.

  • The hotel is - Always open. - The reception at the hotel is open from 08.00 - 24.00. Please call and arrange a different arrival time in advance.

The hotel also has well-suited course and conference facilities in low seasons outside the summer seasons. In connection with the Family Park (seasonal), we can offer tailor-made arrangements within meetings, such as group building and work, meetings for companies of all kinds. Especially on evenings for groups, we can offer a distinctive cozy stay in our large barn very close to where our bears, wolves, wolverines and lynxes live. Please book in advance in terms of number of people.
Hotel and Camping are otherwise open all year round.

PARKING General:

Summer:
For transport trailer/trailer drivers, free parking can be allowed in the evening/night from 20.00 - 08.00 in our open seasons Park, and is free of charge at Familieparken's large parking lot. Access to parking is registered at the Hotel reception opposite the E6 road. Food service such as dinner, supper or breakfast, and the use of sanitary facilities can be arranged at an agreed price if you go to the reception at the hotel and ask about it.

Winter season:
Please checksnow conditions and possible plowing, - otherwise resting/overnight stay and free parking for transport trailers/trailer drivers may be allowed in the Family Park's large parking lot from *18.00 - *08.00. Access to the parking lot must be registered at the Hotel reception opposite the E6 road. If possible, use the hotel's parking area for space. Food service such as dinner, supper or breakfast, and use of our sanitary facilities, you can get an agreed price if you go to the reception at the hotel and ask about it.
