Places to eat in the park 

4. The park café

The Park Café, just inside the entrance, is the Park's largest dining venue. Here you will be served good quality lunch and dinner all summer long. On the menu you will find various homemade traditional dinner dishes (dishes depend on the day). We serve hamburgers and hot dogs with French fries every day. We make sandwiches to order.

We also have soft-serve ice cream, slush and other ice cream varieties for those who want them. Open from 10 am - 5 pm during the high season from July 1 to August 4.
 During our 2 low seasons , Parkkafé is closed, but we have the Mountain Lodge at the top of the Park open, if there are a lot of visitors.

9. Mountain lodge

Fjellstua, the café at the top of the park. By Alpinracer. Here you can buy different types of ice cream, coffee, soft drinks and waffles, traditional food, and dishes such as hamburgers, kebabs and pizza, - and some days other exciting dishes from our kitchen. Open from 11 am to 5 pm in the high season from July 1 to August 4.

We have Storgamma right next to Fjellstua, for campfires, dining and use, for anyone who wants. Sometimes it may be busy with groups.
See the sign outside to see if Storgamma is reserved for specific times.

In low season autumn from 05.08 - 16.08, open every day from 12 noon to 3 pm.
During the final season in autumn from 17.08 to 25.08, the café is only open on Friday and Saturday at the same times.

With views of Tronestjønna, the Zipline and the Alpine Racer, this is a great resting place for young and old!

Boats and life jackets can be borrowed free of charge. Ask us at the reception, or the Kiosk (open from 01.07 to 05.08) (6) or at Krasjbåter(K) (open all 3 seasons) nearby about borrowing and delivery of mandatory life jackets.
Boats and life jackets must be returned by 17:00 (high season). 16:00 (low season) - at the same lending point. Secure boats well!

NOTE: During low season, we leave life jackets in various weights at the Kiosk for your own collection. These are returned after use in the same place.

Predator campers have access to boats, canoes and fishing throughout their stay. Ask about life jackets upon arrival at the entrance.
Boats and life jackets are returned to the same rental location after use. Secure boats securely!

7. STORGamma

At the top of the park close to Fjellstu, we have a special room for agreed gatherings and groups that gives a completely different feeling than a traditional restaurant can offer. A unique space. Ask us about access and if you'd like us to cater your event.

Otherwise, as a guest during the day in the Park, you can make use of our Storgamma to grill and light a fire if the weather is a little bad, or want shade from the sun. It's a nice and cozy atmosphere in there. Predator campers can use this freely throughout their stay. There is wood for burning in our fire pit.

6. Kiosks

Here you can buy ice cream, soft drinks, coffee, tea and lots of other perhaps unknown exciting sweets. In the kiosk you can borrow life jackets if you would like to take a boat trip on Tronestjønna.
ATTENTION. Life jackets are mandatory. Returned in the same place. - Boats must be securely fastened at the same lending location.

Have you been a skilled gold digger? We'll give you a certificate with your own name for your gold at the entrance to the Kiosk, Fjellstu and Park reception!

Barbecue areas

Around the park you'll find fixed grills where you can prepare your own food, and most of the grills are located by the kiosk. The grills are adjacent to tables and benches, so everyone can sit and enjoy themselves for a long time. Charcoal bags, charcoal, lighter fluid and matches can be purchased at the Kiosk or in the souvenir shop. (Note: The Kiosk is closed in low seasons.) You are free to bring your own charcoal, matches and food.
ATTENTION! Disposable barbecues are strictly prohibited in our Park, regardless of area.
